The Sahagian Story
My name is Linda Sahagian. My mom, Peggy Sahagian-Moriarty, founded Sahagian Jewelers in 1982. For 37 years, we worked together as a Mom and Daughter team. With dedication and commitment to provide the highest standard of service and excellence in jewelry, Sahagian Jewelers has grown to become a brand in itself.
After my dad passed away, my mom started a new journey in life following her passion for art and design using jewelry as a medium. As a young widow with two young children, she returned to college and received a Fine Arts Degree in Jewelry Design from Mass College of Art and Metalsmithing from North Bennett Street School while at the same time starting Sahagian Jewelers. She then attended the Gemological Institute of America. A few years later, when I graduated with a BA in Business and Marketing from Simmons College, we became a team….one of the best parts of this journey.
My mom and I grew together at Sahagian Jewelers working long, hard hours…. laughing, hugging, smiling, and challenging each other with ultimate respect. Sadly, my mom passed away in June 2019. Our dedicated staff and I work every day to continue the legacy of excellence at Sahagian Jewelers that my mom created and inspired in each of us.
In the simplest of terms – honesty, dedication, compassion – in serving our loyal customers.
